  • Dr. Greg Taylor
    Practice Owner

    Dr. Taylor grew up in El Dorado, Arkansas. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Arkansas & attended Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2004. He has been practicing as a veterinarian in Hot Springs and the surrounding areas ever since. Dr. Taylor opened Temperance Hill Animal Hospital in 2012. He & his wife, Jennifer, have a son, Nash, & a daughter, June. They have three dogs, Scout, Smalls & Roscoe, & four cats, Boo Radley, Calpurnia, Lula & Ralph. Dr. Taylor enjoys hunting, fishing & spending time on the lake.

  • Dr. Robin Viscardis

    Dr. Viscardis is originally from Magnolia, Arkansas. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 1993 & Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. Dr. Viscardis has practiced small animal medicine & surgery her entire career in Hot Springs & has been with Temperance Hill Animal Hospital since 2014. She & her husband, Craig, have three sons. In her free time, Dr. Viscardis enjoys running, time on the lake, watching her boys play soccer & vacationing with family. Her family has a Miniature Australian Shepherd, Kona, & three cats, Ace, Mickey & Ocho.

  • Dr. Dent Burks

    Dr. Burks is originally from Tennessee and graduated in 1980 from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine where he was inducted into Phi Zeta, the Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine. He has been practicing small animal medicine and surgery in Hot Springs since 1984. He & his wife, Myra, have two children and three grandchildren, as well as two dogs and five grand dogs. In his spare time, Dr. Burks enjoys fishing, scuba diving and reading veterinary journals.

  • Courtney Flickinger
    Veterinary Assistant/Manager

    Courtney is from Illinois, but she moved to Arkansas in 2001. She graduated from Bismarck High School. Courtney is married & has two daughters. She has two labradors & a St. Bernard. Courtney enjoys working with animals, & in her spare time, she likes to spend time with family, friends & her fur babies outdoors.

  • Betty Roberts
    Veterinary Assistant

    Betty has been married to David for over 50 years. She has three kids & three grandchildren. Betty has been working with animals since 1968 & has loved every minute of it! She came to work for Dr. Taylor two weeks after Temperance Hill Animal Hospital opened.

  • Gayla Rice
    Receptionist

    Gayla grew up in Northeast Arkansas. She taught special education for 27 years before retiring three years ago & moving to Hot Springs. Gayla has two children & one granddaughter as well as a granddog & grandcat.

  • Charlene Green
    Veterinary Assistant

    Charlene was born & raised in California & moved to Hot Springs in 2012. She has 17 chickens, one rooster, one guinea, two rabbits, two betas, one goldfish, four dogs, & six cats. In addition to her brood of animals, Charlene & her husband, Anthony, have three children, Marques, Aaron, & Kaley. Clearly, working with animals is the perfect job for Charlene!

  • Brittany Halverson
    Receptionist

    Brittany was born in Pine Bluff & relocated to Hot Springs in 1998. She graduated from Lakeside High School in 2004. Brittany & husband, Ron, have two daughters, Autumn & Katalina , a son, Knox, & an English Bulldog named Beast. She has been a lover of animals & has always wanted to work with them.
